FAQ about materials
What is the difference between a melamine and a laminate door?
A melamine door is made from a 18mm thick particles board which then has a decorative paper adhered to it under high pressure and then finished with melamine resin.
The laminate material is generated by different Kraft paper sheets assembled together under high pressure and then temperature thermoformed with a polymerised resin. The sheet is then laminated to the particles board. The high pressure laminate panel is a robust and easy to live with material, with a high resistance to scratches, UV light and heat (up to 180°)
What is a polymer door?
This technique covers the entire door with a plastic film in one operation. Whatever is the door form, flat or framed, this process allows for an impeccable finish at a good value for money price.
